I mistakenly held off getting the new Libram because Rawr said it wasn't a huge upgrade... then the newest version of Rawr was like 'whoops, my bad, its like 200 dps more brah.' Good job on the intuition there. I've not had much of a chance to try out SoV but to be honest I'll always use SoV on a boss - I wouldnt use anything else. It doenst take that long to get the 5 stacks up...oooh there's a though...what if you used a fast weapon at the start of the fight - say a 1.6 second 1-hander just to get the 5-stacks up super quick. Hmmm...that would put the 5 stacks up in 8 seconds, where a 3.6s 2-hander would take 18 seconds.. thats a whole 10 seconds quicker! Would it work like that?? I’m using SoV in all raids all the time.

Because I've tested it to be more dps in short fights, or those with many quick changes, where initially stacking and afterward maintaining the DoT is not feasible.
