The Argent Tournament

So in whats going to be the first real Raiding blog post here for a while lets see if I cant make this somewhat of a return to grace.

I’m sure many of you will have entered the Argent Tournament in one way or another, be that in a raiding or 5-man instance, or just doing the daily quests there for some of the nice gear. We’ve all dipped a toe in there – even if it was just to see whats going on up there.

Anyway I’m loving how they’re pacing out the content in there, although it did feel a bit like “oh wait…what? No more bosses till next week?” the first week! Just means we can carry on working our way through ulduar.

We’ve cleared all 4 of the bosses out so far in 10man (not sure about 25-man as yet) the Horde Champions easily being the hardest fight so far. Just coordinating the whole thing can be a little messy. Loads of fun though!! I cant wait for the last boss – wanna get that place cleared and try it on heroic! Wanna get some of that tier 9.3 goodness!

So far the only new gear I’ve gotten from the 3.2 patch is the new libram which i bought for 25 emblems. Very nice!! When i get that proc’ing and my greatness card…phew thats a lot of strength!!

I’m gunning for some upgraded gloves at the moment, well I got some the other night, but they have loads of hit-rating on them – just not sure I can be bothered to use them or not – might as well, but I loose my 4-piece set bonus from my t8 then.

Seal of Vengeance is lovely I’ve decided!! Its awesome! I just love all that sexy damage!! Amazing!! I still am shocked to see some retnoobs out there using SoRi or SoComm instead of it.

I use Seal of Righteosness when solo’ing cos I’m getting 6k crits from it self buffed! I might try it on trash mobs next time we’re raiding!

Our progression in Ulduar seems to have stagnated quite a bit since the summer started due to loads of people either giving up WoW altogether or being on holiday. But things are looking like they’re going to be picking up again soon! Just in time for me to be offline for a few weeks while i move house! Typical!

I hit 7000 Acheivement points this week! Epic!! I need more though – maybe I’ll start doing some pvp again! even if i’ve only got PVE gear. I’ve not even stepped into the new battleground yet. Probably manage quite a few in there.

I’ve started leveling my Death Knight again – Khanith is now 75 – I’ve bought him the heirloom shoulders and chest – and with the heirloom flight book he’s been zooming around northrend at 150% mount speed. Once he hits 80 its time for my Mage to do the same

Winds of Change..

Epic Fail = Me!!

Well I’m such a slacker! I’ve been so busy lately What with raiding and new content and Blizzcon ’09 (well watching it anyway) I’ve forgotten that I was supposed to be blogging!!

Anyway – no empty threats for posting this time! I’ll post if i can!

So lets round up the past couple months.

1 – Ulduar 25 Progression – We’ve had lots of problems with getting enough people together to do 25-mans therefore we’re still stuck on Yogg-Saron. Really annoying – we’ve gotten into phase where you go into the memories rooms.

2 – Trail of the Crusader – I’ve really enjoyed this new content so far – all the fights are really cool and I like the way you’ve gotta work for the top end gear! I means Ensida etc have to wait for loot like the rest of us!! ^_^

3 – Argent Tournament – New dailys are awesome, new quests – new items – lots of cool stuff. I got my Argent Charger!

Gotten some interesting acheivements as well!!
