Quick Update..
No Naxx for me last night, I’m going tonight. The Raid leader wanted to get everyone in who was 79/80 before we start it properly tomorrow after the reset.
Then I imagine we’ll do naxx 10 for a while and then move onto bigger and better things!
I’ve hit exalted with my 3rd WotLK faction last night:
Knights of the Ebon Blade
Valiance Expedition
The Wrymrest Accord
If anyone can explain what the Alliance Vanguard is and why it appears as revered on my faction sheet, but is only listed as a group consisting of:
Explorers League, The Frostborn, The Silver Covenant and the Valiance Expedition.
Is there some soft of bonus for getting this?
As I’m exalted with the Valiance Expedition I’m no longer getting rep for them, instead I’m getting rep for the Vanguard instead.
I know there is an achievement for getting the 4 factions to exalted that you champion in instances (Argent Cursade, Kirin Tor, Knights of the Ebon Blade, and The Wrymrest Accord) Could the Alliance Vanguard get something similar?
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

The Alliance Vanguard is the “umbrella” faction that covers the 4 groups that you listed.
It is kinda like the Aldor/Scryer rep and the sha’tar. When you gain rep with Aldor/Scryers part of that would go to The Sha’tar rep. The same thing is happening here. When you get rep with one of the 4, part of the rep goes to the Vanguard as well.

And, none of the “sub-factions” have quartermasters – Alliance Vanguard has the quartermaster (and the schematics for my HAWG!), located both in Valiance Keep and Valgarde.

If you want Alliance Vanguard rep, just dont where a tabbard, that rep default in most instances.

duuuude!
You need to retool your ret spec (I saw your post about 61 points in ret XD)! Put 5 points into the protection strength talent for 15% extra STR! It’s such a huge buff especially with the change in itemization for retribution paladins. The higher your STR is, the more STR the talent gives you :O. I’m up to 2650+ AP at 78 in All savage gear, and a Jin’rohk in hand. Check out my spec if you get a chance for an idea as to what I did. I was respeccing like mad pre-wrath to test out the best spec to use at 70+ and I sacrificed 5 other points I had in mostly PvP oriented situations to put into a full out rockin’ pve spec
. Now I pretty much have been placing points wherever I feel like since there isnt any really attractive talents to place my points now lmao.

Oh and in a 10 man raid i’m up to 4178 AP, 27% crit.
Thats before shaman totems go down!

lol. all i saw was the 0/0/61 in another post of yours. I just hit 79 a few minutes ago, and I’m up to 3000 AP and 26% crit self buffed
. Can’t wait to use my titansteel destroyer sitting in my bag! Now get yourself in that Naxxramas and get some phat lewts!
