On another note, I can no longer effectively solo Strat in Ret spec at this point. The mana efficiency just isn’t there. Prot, however, seems to be working better then ever….

i have to agree here with you, even on things as trivial as running my GF’s toon through UB and SP today were making me judge Wisdom.. my mana was running out very quick.

The Seal of Command -20% and Judgements of the wise -17% hotfixes are indeed live – for raiding I wouldn’t even bother judging Light, you have healers for that, but there are very few class mechanics that return mana not just to you but to the entire raid, its a great way to keep your own mana up and bring some much-loved utility to the raid.

As I posted on Zebra’s blog, I’m with you there. My mage biscuits were actually being used every couple pulls in ZA last night . It doesn’t look too harsh and I think we definitely need to tweak our rotations a bit. I too was doing roughly the same rotation as you, CS, DS, Judge SoC, Consecrate, etc. until i ran low on mana, then judged wisdom until i got back up to about 80-90% mana again.
